NENE OHASHI, from Nagoya, Japan started the saxophone at age 12. As a graduate of the Aichi Prefectural Meiwa Senior High School Music program, she has won 1st prize of the 3rd and 4th editions of the Nagoya Saxophone Competition, and 2nd prize at the 5th K Saxophone Competition. She was also the 3rd prize winner of the 21st and 22nd editions of the Junior Saxophone Competition of the Japan Saxophonist Association. She was featured in solo recitals including the 12th annual summer concert, and the 68th annual recital series at Meiwa Senior High School.

Nene has performed in several masterclasses, including for Nobuya Sugawa, and has studied privately with Yurina Kawai, Yusuke Horie, and Yasuto Tanaka.

Nene is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree at the Aichi University of the Arts under Yasuto Tanaka.
