Sponsor a young saxophonist to connect with them and support their educational journey.

ISA will match all donations! $10 donation = $20 membership, $40 = $80 and so forth. Choose a monthly donation and provide consistent access for a young saxophonist, or show your support with a one-time or annual gift.

  • This provides an Archive Membership ($20 value) granting access to ISA’s video series of world-class artists providing musical instruction in a variety of settings.

  • This provides a Full Access Membership ($80 value) including all events, access to the ISA Archive, and more.

  • In addition to the above, this donation pairs an aspiring young saxophonist with an ISA mentor—a recognized leader in the saxophone community that will help guide the student through their studies. This is especially helpful for high school seniors looking to pursue music in college!

  • In addition to the Full Access Membership ($80 value), this provides a one-hour private lesson with an ISA artist ($150 value).

  • This provides a one-year Full Access membership to ISA ($960 value). Donors may designate recipient (individual or program).

  • ISA will create an Endowed Chair which serves as a permanent Full Access Membership for the recipient. Frequently, these Endowed Chairs are gifted to schools or music programs as a scholarship for an outstanding saxophonist in their program. Typically, recipients are nominated by their band director, but donors may designate the first recipient if they choose. Donors may also decide whether the Endowed Chair remains with the individual student (while in use), or if the position stays with the music program and the recipient is determined annually by the band director.

FAQs

I don’t know which program to support; can I still donate?

Of course! ISA appreciates any assistance we can channel into support for young musicians. If you do not have a specific program in mind, your donation will support a current ISA member or prospective student in need of financial assistance.

I want to donate without any additional correspondence. Do I have to receive updates from a sponsored student or ISA?

All of our services are optional. We enjoy connecting sponsors with driven young saxophonists, but we understand the desire for simplicity and/or privacy. Beyond an initial attempt to show our appreciation for your support, ISA will only contact you if you have a request for your donation that requires it.

I want to donate, but am unable to commit to a monthly donation. Can I submit a one-time donation?

Yes! We appreciate all support, no matter what capacity. Know that your donation will help support current or prospective students who would like to apply for sponsorship.

I want to be more involved. How does the sponsorship work?

Monthly donations of $40 and above, and one-time or annual donations of $500 and above allow a student to cultivate a long-term relationship with the ISA community. ISA will share this journey with you through progress reports, performance videos, and more. You will also receive an invitation to any master class performances featuring the sponsored student, and in some cases, the scholarship recipient will be expected to follow a curriculum demonstrating core skills needed to progress in their studies. A member of the ISA team will contact you shortly after receiving your donation to discuss sponsorship details.

I want to donate but prefer to support ISA differently than the options above. What can I do?

You are welcome to donate any amount for any reason. The categories above are suggestions and we are happy to direct your donation however you would like. After receiving your donation, a member of ISA’s team will reach out to discuss.

For the $1,000 endowed chair donation, can I choose the recipient?

ISA and the artists in our community are experienced in identifying hard-working saxophonists that would benefit from your support. We also partner with band programs across the world that include many deserving students waiting for support. Still, we value your opinion and your suggestion of any institution, program, or individual you prefer to receive your sponsorship.
