Call For Scores

International Saxophone Publishing is an organization dedicated to propelling the field of classical saxophone through commissioning and highlighting the work of exceptional emerging composers. We hope to introduce your work to the greater saxophone community through submission to our call for scores.

If your composition is one of up to ten works chosen by the artistic selection committee, you will have the benefit of receiving edits and suggestions from professional composers. Your score will be published through International Saxophone Publishing, and distributed both nationally and internationally through our partners. Additionally, you will receive a percentage of the sales from your score whilst retaining the full copyright of your work.

Works must be original and composed solely by the submitting party. Works that have already been premiered are eligible for submission. Instrumentation is limited to saxophone quartet and mixed chamber, with no more than six musicians and including at least one saxophone part (works for saxophone and piano are excluded from mixed chamber submissions). Composers are eligible to submit multiple scores, given that the works do not share the same instrumentation (e.g. do not submit two works for saxophone quartet, but it is fine to submit one work for saxophone quartet and one for reed quintet).

All works must be submitted as a PDF via email to info@internationalsaxophoneacademy.com with the corresponding submission form (below) by December 15th to be considered for selection. Please include your name and the title of your work in the email. If selected, the music file (Finale, Sibelius, etc.) for your work should be made available following the selection announcement.
